The Women’s Super League match weekend fifteen had crucial fixtures with vital results.

The Women’s Super League fifteenth match weekend produced all sides attempting to claim big results for the standings.

Going into it, Manchester City’s 5-1 win against Chelsea gave them a massive lead, while the Blues were taken over by Manchester United.

Elsewhere, Tottenham got a result, but Arsenal, they didn’t do their task due to their participation in the Women’s Champions Cup, which they ended up winning.

The relegation zone was claimed by Liverpool with West ham in distance, but Leicester City and Everton became possibilities to be replaced.

Among the matches, there was Arsenal vs Manchester City, London vs Everton, and Tottenham vs Chelsea.

The league’s scorelines are turning even more key, as there are many scenarios, including multiple clubs with tasks to achieve. If that’s the title race, the quest for the top three or even keeping away from elimination.

Man City are seemingly on their way to WSL triumph after their impressive form, though their opponents won't make it an easy path for them, but it would take quite something to stop them.

The next games are on the 13th and 15th. Then, there will be a break in the Women’s Super League, which returns a month later. This is due to the FA Cup and international matches.

Let’s take a look at the fixtures and the table in the WSL.

The Women’s Super League results

Leicester City 0-2 Manchester United

West ham 3-2 Brighton

Liverpool 4-1 Aston Villa

Arsenal 1-0 Manchester City

London 0-1 Everton

Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

While Arsenal got a big win, it means City have lost only their second league game of the season. They remain at the top of the pile, but have their gap reduced. Chelsea earned a much-anticipated result, as they not only aim to compete with Manchester City but also attempt for a European placement. Tottenham, who are also looking to make it onto the higher placements, missed out on getting points.

Liverpool, West ham, and Everton all gained wins, which adds to their bid of getting to safety, but Leicester were defeated, giving them more work to do.
