Manchester City have been drawn against Championship side Plymouth Argyle for the fifth round of the FA Cup.

After beating Leyton Orient 2-1 last weekend thanks to goals coming from Abdukodir Khusanov and Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City's journey in this season's FA Cup continues.

The FA Cup will be Man City's best and most realistic chance of silverware. Their hopes in the Premier League have ended and their aim now is only to finish in the top four, they faced an early exit from the Carabao Cup after a 2-1 loss to Tottenham, and they sit on the brink of elimination from the Champions League after a 3-2 defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg of their playoff tie.

As they go into the fifth round, the Cityzens will be aiming for FA Cup glory. And next up, they will need to beat 23th-placed Championship side Plymouth, who shockingly eliminated Liverpool in the fourth round with a 1-0 victory.

The FA Cup has been no short of drama this time around, as we've seen competition favourites such as Liverpool and Arsenal already eliminated from the competition. Manchester City will be hoping that this works in their favour, while all of the remaining clubs will be a big threat towards the Sky Blues, it could be assumed that they will be glad that if they surpass Plymouth, they won't be meeting the Premier League's top two.
