Now led by Enzo Maresca of course, Man City are one of the favourites to go all the way again. The Citizens' EFL Cup quest will commence on Thursday night, welcoming Norwich City of the Championship to the Etihad. By the time this match kicks off, fans of both teams will know who awaits in round four, so when is the draw?
When will the Carabao Cup fourth round draw take place?
The Carabao Cup fourth round draw takes place on Wednesday 16 September at around 10:30pm (BST), following Sky Sports' live coverage of Manchester United vs Brighton & Hove Albion. Pien Meulensteen will host the draw, with Jamie Redknapp and Ashley Young pulling the all important balls out of the bowl.
Unlike in round three, it is a completely open draw, meaning anyone can face anyone else.
Who is through to the Carabao Cup fourth round?
Six clubs are already guaranteed a spot in the EFL Cup round of 16, following victories last mid-week. They are Chelsea, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Bournemouth of the Premier League, as well as third-tier Bradford City.
Nine more clubs will advance across Tuesday and Wednesday, before the round concludes at the Etihad on Thursday, and these are the fixtures.

When do Carabao Cup fourth round ties take place?
The Carabao Cup fourth round fixtures are scheduled for 27, 28 and 29 October. For Manchester City, this comes in-between Premier League matches at Villa Park in the early kick off on Saturday 24, and then a home match against Brighton on Halloween.
