The UEFA Champions League draw for the new season has arrived, and the path for every club in the league phase is set to be discovered.
The Champions League is getting ready to return to the centre stage, as 36 clubs from across the continent will compete for the biggest title in club football.
Last season, the traditional group stage format that saw eight groups made up of four teams was replaced by a different format, which made one big group table and for every club, they would face eight different opponents.
This format first raised some eyebrows, but concerns were quickly pushed away after the new league phase proved to be a good move for the competition.
Now, we prepare to get stuck back into a new season of the Champions League, which gets underway in September. For now, the draw that gives an idea of what to look forward to will be put together.
The official draw takes place on Thursday, the 28th of August at 17:00 (UK).
Here, we have a look at which clubs are participating in the draw and who has been placed in which pot.
