Manchester City take on Tottenham Hotspur in a midweek Premier League fixture, as they hope to claim three vital points in their bid to remain in the top four.
Manchester City will continue their quest to secure a top-four place in the Premier League after their chances of reattaining the title came to a disappointing end due to many poor results and are currently now 20 points behind the leaders Liverpool.
So now the Cityznes are aiming to finish off the season with a guaranteed Champions League spot and while fifth place could also see them do that due to the new UEFA format, Man City will still be fighting to be in the top four, as that would be the safer option.
It will be a hard job from here on out, as behind them are Newcastle United, Bournemouth, Chelsea and Aston Villa all batting for the position as the Sky Blues and there are only two points separating City from eighth position.
Next, it will be Tottenham that Manchester City meet this upcoming Wednesday in a midweek Premier League match, and this will be a huge task for City to overcome, especially since they've lost the two previous meetings so far this season, the first 2-1 in the Carabao Cup and 4-0 in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola talks new signings, Haaland update & Spurs task
"Really good for the short time in training, really good. Khusanov arrived and played against Chelsea, Newcastle, Real Madrid, Liverpool - all tough and difficult schedules from where they come from."
"For the lack of communication, Khusanov doesn't speak English fluently, so the impact is good."
"Omar as well - Nico has played less, but they have been really good. We're satisfied and of course, Vitor, when he has minutes it's a good level."
Moving on to discuss Haaland, the manager said "Tonight, we will know it after training. I hope so but I don't know yet. He feels better but the last two games he could not play."
"They're a fantastic team, with individual quality (Tottenham). The rhythm they play and intensity. They can do it especially when James Maddison plays."
Man City Square prediction:
Tottenham 2-2 Manchester City
