Going into this match weekend, Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal, and Manchester United were looking to keep up with current leaders Chelsea, while the likes of Aston Villa and London were aiming to claim more positive results.
Due to their 2-0 win over London, Chelsea were still leading the way over their rivals; however, results such as Manchester United's 3-2 win against Brighton, Arsenal’s 4-1 victory against Leicester, and more, meant the standings were still very close.
