The Premier League is set to get underway this weekend, as 20 teams begin their bid to claim the English title.

The Premier League will feature its first match weekend of the season, with ten matches playing out across the days.

The brand new season of the Premier League has arrived, as we begin the search for the new champion.

Liverpool are the current holders of the trophy after a comfortable victory last season, they now will hope to defend their title by once again producing a successful display.

The biggest challengers to Liverpool will be Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea. While we can expect other potential teams to provide surprises, if that could be for one of the top spots or even the Premier League itself, it will be something to look out for.

We can be sure to be in-store for big games and stories to accompany them. And more importantly, we have our weekly dose of football back to provide us with the ultimate excitement.

Here, we take a look at the first batch of fixtures this upcoming weekend and the information you need to know.
