The UEFA Champions League matchday five is here, and more fixtures will see massive results.
The Champions League has its fifth matchday here, where all sides attempt to claim vital results for this season’s league phase.
The league phase, which consists of a total of eight matchdays, is now already at the fifth day. We have seen sides playing to get results that will put them in the top eight and automatically qualify for the next round, while others are now aiming for a place within 9 to 24, so even though they’ll have an extra round to go through to qualify, they’ll still be in the competition, unlike whoever is placed 25th to 36th. With these scenarios, the results which come from every game are vital.
Last time, Bayern Munich became leaders of the league, while Inter Milan and Arsenal remained claiming wins. Galatasaray and Manchester City were some of the others to get the wins, while Juventus and Sporting drew, as did Napoli and Frankfurt.
Now, there are more big matches here, ready to decide what the standings will look like. The next matchday will be on the ninth and 10th of December.
