After 13 games with only one victory, three draws, and nine losses, City can finally breathe now that they have gained themselves a vital win over Leicester City on Sunday afternoon.
The game's first goal from Brazilian Savinho, which came as his first-ever Man City goal, who placed himself in the right position after Leciester prevented a City attempt only for it to fall for Savinho who put away the rebound chance.
The Cityzens went into the break with a one-goal lead, which was a good start considering however considering how things have gone so far this season, they would have known it was far from won.
And then, in the 73rd minute, Erling Haaland headed the match-winning goal for City; giving them a 2-0 lead and the 2-0 victory.
Man City end the year with three points to add to the Premier League table, which takes them to fifth after being seventh. However, their position could change due to Newcastle United taking on Manchester United on Monday and if Newcastle were to achieve a win, they would take over the Sky Blues.
