The Premier League held its second match weekend, where big games concluded with crucial points for many different clubs.

The Premier League has officially completed two match weekends, with a total of 20 matches being played overall so far, as everyone gets back into the anticipated English top-tier league mood.

It was quite the big batch of fixtures that took place, and there were some massive results across the days, some of which saw clubs get their first points on the board and for some, build on results from the opening games.

Some of the standout fixtures included the likes of Manchester City vs Tottenham, newly promoted sides Burnley and Sunderland meeting, and FA Cup holders Crystal Palace taking on Nottingham Forest.

There will be one more Premier League match weekend of this month, and then an international break will begin, giving the clubs a break for a few weeks.
