The Premier League had its match weekend twenty-four, where fixtures had crucial results claimed by many sides.
The Premier League’s twenty-fourth match weekend had vital wins gained for the table.
Going into it, Manchester City and Aston Villa not only had gotten victories, but Arsenal’s defeat gave them a lifeline in the title race. This decreased the gap slightly and gave the contenders a new scenario to work on.
Manchester United and Chelsea’s wins gave them the top five, while Liverpool were left aiming to get back in. Newcastle, Brentford, Sunderland, and Fulham were among the clubs attempting to take over.
The relegation zone that has Wolves, Burnley, and West ham had Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, and Leeds become within distance.
The matches in the PL were Aston Villa vs Brentford, Manchester United vs Fulham, and Tottenham vs Manchester City, as some of the table's key meetings.
The next match weekend will be on the 6th, 7th and 8th, the first full batch of games in February. In between these fixtures, there will be the second encounters in the Carabao Cup, where Manchester City will be looking to add onto their 2-0 scoreline against Newcastle, and Arsenal aim to keep their slim 3-2 lead against Chelsea.
Let’s take a look at the PL games and the table shape.
The Premier League results

Chelsea 3-2 West ham
Liverpool 4-1 Newcastle
Nottingham Forest 1-1 Crystal Palace
