The Premier League took place over the weekend and featured match weekend four, where 20 clubs attempted to gain themselves points by overcoming their opponents.

The Premier League has completed its fourth weekend as a further more crucial 10 fixtures were played out.

There were some big games taking place over the weekend, such as the anticipated Manchester derby, Arsenal’s encounter with Nottingham Forest, and Newcastle vs Wolves.

From the first few fixtures, for some clubs, such as Manchester City, Manchester United, and Aston Villa, they would have been hoping to gain positive outcomes after struggling to do so, while for others like Liverpool, Arsenal, and even Bournemouth, they would have been aiming to build on the good displays they had made and carry on in that manner.

The fifth match weekend will take place on the 20th and 21st September, where there will be more massive matches to feature.

Among the results, Chelsea struggled against Brentford and settled for a 2-2 draw, while Newcastle's win kept Wolves without any points.

Elsewhere, Liverpool claimed their fourth win out of four, Arsenal stamped a statement over Nottingham Forest, and most notably, Manchester City got their second win of the Premier League by a comfortable victory over their rivals, and got themselves a much needed outcome.
