The Premier League had its eighth match weekend take place, as 10 fixtures had crucial results.

The Premier League has featured its eighth match weekend, where big games and vital results were shown.

Going into these games, Manchester City, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace were looking to claim positive results to add to their points, while Arsenal would have been aiming to keep themselves as leaders, and Liverpool would have been looking to reclaim their leading role.    

During the last match weekend, Manchester City were 1-0 winners over Brentford, Chelsea defeated Liverpool, Everton got a 1-0 win against Crystal Palace and Bournemouth got the victory over Fulham.

Among the fixtures, Manchester City were meeting Everton, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth encountered, there was Liverpool vs Manchester United and Newcastle took on Brighton.

With standings so close, every game is crucial for every side, especially the ones who are contenders for the title and are currently in a place that will let them be able to do that.

The next match weekend will be taking place on Friday, the 24th, Saturday, the 25th, and Sunday, the 26th.

While Manchester City claimed a 2-0 win over Everton, Crystal and Bournemouth had a 3-3 draw, Tottenham were defeated 2-1 by Aston Villa, and Manchester United surprised Liverpool with a 2-1 win.

With these results, many things have been shifted. While Arsenal are still the league leaders, Manchester City and Bournemouth have gone in front of Liverpool who have gone to fourth. Aston Villa remain getting positive wins to build themselves up, and keeping themselves in the top 10 are Sunderland and Crystal Palace, while Chelsea also add to their points.
