The Premier League officially got underway over the weekend, as 10 matches were played out to kick things off.
The Premier League has returned, and we have already completed one match weekend.
With the English league back, fans have their weekends booked and busy again as they cheer on their favourite teams, as they hope to make their way to the Premier League title.
With the first set of games all done, the different sides have added their first number of points to their names, while some were left unable to do so. While those clubs will be hoping to bounce back as the fixtures go on, the others will be pleased with their starts and will be building on the positive starts they've made.
Defending champions Liverpool will be aiming to go back-to-back and keep hold of their trophy, while Manchester City will be working towards reaching their best and knocking Liverpool away from the title.
Another side to the story will be the clubs, such as Manchester United, trying to have a different type of Premier League display than the former.
Aston Villa and Newcastle will be hoping to remain threats, and FA Cup and Community Shield winners Crystal Palace will be in business to keep making their mark.
Here, we take a look at the scores from the opening match weekend and which sides landed where after getting their first fixtures done.
