The UEFA Champions League has gotten underway, with the first legs of the last round of 16 all completed. We were treated to exciting matches with late winners, brilliant goals and incredible individual performances.

After watching the first half of all 16 fixtures, we have a few weeks until the second half commences, but putting that aside, many have formed opinions on the squads and what they have shown us this far.

Manchester City, the current holders of the trophy for the first time in their history, still remain favoured by many to repeat the same ending as last year.

My list shows who I think will win this season's Champions League and who is least likely to achieve that.

16 - Copenhagen

First leg score: 3-1 loss to Manchester City.

15 - Leipzig

First leg score: 1-0 loss to Real Madrid

14 - Lazio

First leg score: 1-0 win over Bayern Munich

13 - PSV

First leg score: 1-1 draw with Dortmund

12 - Real Sociedad

First leg score: 2-0 loss to PSG

11 - Porto

First leg score: 1-0 win over Arsenal

10 - Atletico Madrid

First leg score: 1-0 loss to Inter Milan

9 - Dortmund

First leg score: 1-1 draw with PSV

8 - Napoli

First leg score: 1-1 draw with Barcelona

7 - Paris Saint-Germain

First leg score: 2-0 win against Real Sociedad

6 - Arsenal

First leg score: 1-0 loss to Porto

5 - Bayern Munich

First leg score: 1-0 loss to Lazio

4 - Barcelona

First leg score: 1-1 draw with Napoli

3 - Inter Milan

First leg score: 1-0 win against Atletico Madrid

2 - Real Madrid

First leg score: 1-0 win over Leipzig

1 - Manchester City

First leg score: 3-1 over Copenhagen

Manchester City do stay right at the top of my ranking; while doing the back-to-back European triumphant is always a big thing to ask of a club, City do seem more than capable even though their season has been a little underwhelming compared to the former season.

The return games of the Champions League take place in the first week of March.
