The Brazilian star Savinho has revealed why he transferred to Manchester City from the French club Troyes.

Manchester City announced that they have signed Savinho on a contract extending until June 2029.

Savinho said in statements reported by the English club's official website: "I am happy to join Manchester City. They are the team that won the Premier League, the Champions League, and the Club World Cup."

He continued: "Everyone knows they are the best team in the world right now, so being here is very exciting for me."

The young Brazilian star added: "I am excited about the idea of working under Pep Guardiola. He is one of the best coaches ever, and I know he will help me develop even more."

He added: "I had a great time in Spain, and I am looking forward to the new challenge of playing in the Premier League alongside some of the best players in the world."

He continued: "I can't wait to meet the fans and my new teammates, and I hope to contribute to bringing more success to City."

It is noteworthy that Savinho played last season on loan for the Spanish club Girona and performed well. The player is set to wear the number 26 shirt with City. This deal is expected to be highly beneficial for Manchester City, as adding a talented young player like Savinho will strengthen their squad and contribute to their ongoing success.
