Manchester City's Ruben Dias has been a vital piece of the team since arriving in 2020 from Portuguese club Benfica and quickly made an impact while cementing his name among some of the best defenders in the world.
Ruben Dias, like many of his fellow teammates, has been awarded many trophies in the past few seasons, including the likes of the Premier League, FA Cup, and City's most desired silverware, the Champions League.
While speaking to the Manchester City official website, Dias discussed his involvement at the club and how he felt he signed up for the Cityzens.
Ruben Dias
"Right now, I'm really comfortable with myself. I enjoy the Club, I enjoy the City, I enjoy my home. I feel at home here."
"It was easy to come in the sense of the football reason, but in the sense of abdicating my whole life in Lisbon, which is me, my one and only paradise, it's not easy. You lose a lot of what's your normal day, but I always say it: if you're happy at work, you can be happy wherever."
"With time, you just start to know the city better, and today, I can say I really feel comfortable here."
The 26-year-old defender surely sounds to be adjusting to his new surroundings and has a good connection with the club itself.
Ruben Dias and Man City meet Huddersfield Town this Sunday in their bid to defend their FA Cup title, as they picked up the trophy last year, which contributed to their historic treble.
