Real Madrid officials have rejected the idea of foregoing any available options to reinforce the team's attack in the upcoming summer.

Reports indicate that Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Real Madrid, has requested Florentino Perez, the club's president, to sign Victor Osimhen, the striker from Napoli, in case the attempts to bring in Mbappe and Haaland fall through.

However, Napoli announced on Saturday, the renewal of the contract of their Nigerian player Victor Osimhen for an additional year, extending until the summer of 2026.

Real Madrid officials took note of Osimhen's contract renewal but have not ruled out the African player as part of their plans to strengthen the attack in the upcoming summer.

Real Madrid is fully prepared to re-prioritize Osimhen if the efforts to acquire Mbappe and Haaland fail in the summer of 2024.
