Manchester City women's team have been drawn against Durham in the FA Cup fourth round, which is set to take place in January.
Gareth Taylor and the team will feature in the FA Cup fourth round next month, which will add a third competition to their schedule, along with the Women's Super League and FA League Cup.
Currently sitting on third on the WSL table, just three points behind Chelsea and Arsenal, City will be pleased with their current standing as their potential to go both to the top of the league looks highly probable.
While in the FA League Cup, the Cityzens have earned wins over Everton (2-1) and Liverpool (4-3) but failed to earn points against Leicester City (2-2, 4-3 penalties). They only now have Manchester United left to play before their fate in the League is decided.
Manchester City will surely be the favourites ahead of their meeting with Durham, but if they can and will be in contention to compete for the FA Cup trophy, improvements will be vital.
Gareth Taylor himself has said that "if anybody will stop City, it will be City themselves," as he suggested how strong City can be and how they can compete with anyone who comes their way.
But before we set our attention to this fixture, City will play Everton on Sunday, the 17th December, at 13:00 (UK).
