Manchester City kicked off the new year with a successful spell in January. The Sky Blues won their two important matches in the English Premier League against Newcastle United and Burnley, and as a result, they find themselves in second place in the table. They are five points off current league leaders Liverpool, although City have a game in hand. Meanwhile, in the FA Cup, the Cityzens won their matches in the competition’s third and fourth rounds. It's a good campaign so far as they look to retain the FA Cup title.

This month, the Sky Blues will have a congested schedule. Over the course of 29 days, they will have seven matches in three different competitions. It will be a pivotal month in this season.

Manchester City have already claimed two victories this month, meeting Brentford and Everton.

With these two EPL matches done, Manchester City will now travel to Copenhagen for the UEFA Champions League’s Round of 16, the first tie will be held in Denmark. City are the favorite, and history supports this fact, given the previous matchups between these two sides. Nonetheless, City cannot be complacent as they look to retain the Champions League title.

Following this European fixture, the Mancunians will return to domestic duty. They will host Chelsea on Saturday, 17 February. Earlier this season, the two clubs battled each other to a dramatic 4-4 draw. But as City look to retain the EPL title, they will need to earn maximum points from this fixture.

Three days later, Manchester City will play the reverse match against Brentford on Tuesday, 20 February. The quick succession in games between the Sky Blues and the Bees could be problematic as it will not allow for much relaxation or preparation time.

Then, on Saturday, 24 February, City will travel to Bournemouth. The Cherries have tormented numerous clubs this season on the pitch, and they will look to make things difficult for the Sky Blues in this EPL fixture. Only a victory will satisfy the visitors.

Finally, Manchester City will conclude this hectic schedule of fixtures when they travel to Luton Town on Wednesday, 28 February, for the FA Cup’s fifth round. The Hatters previously troubled the Sky Blues earlier this season in an EPL match, and after some grit and determination, the Mancunians squeezed by to win the match. Manchester City will hope to replicate another victory during this match.

Overall, this month will be a difficult spell for the Sky Blues. City should be favored to win all seven of these matches, but football is unpredictable, and these matches will be coming thick and fast. To retain the EPL, Champions League, and FA Cup titles, the Sky Blues will likely have to win all these matches this month. Otherwise, they may bow out of more silverware this season.

How will Manchester City fare in their matches in February 2024? While they are favored to win all seven games, time will tell.
