Manchester City have drawn Copenhagen in the official UEFA Champions League draw for the next round of the competition.
Being placed in pot one after winning all of their six group games, Man City was guaranteed to miss out on fixtures against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
In pot two, City had the potential opposition of Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and Napoli. But, it was indeed Copenhagen that the Cityzens will meet.
Manchester City will be the heavy favourites for the matchup, but Copenhagen should not be dismissed after their exceptional performances in their group, advancing alongside Bayern and eliminating Galatasaray and City rivals Man United.
It's safe to say that Man City have struggled in the Premier League thus far after failing to achieve three points on numerous occasions, which has left them five points behind leaders Liverpool.
Saying that City will not or should not be counted out of anything as they are more than capable of achieving everything they did last season.
Manchester City will be focusing on the FIFA Club World Cup as they take on the Urawa Red Diamonds on the 19th December at 18:00 (UK).
