The official calendar for the Women's Super League 24/25 season has been announced.
Manchester City will be aiming towards a better overall outcome than the previous one; while they remained in contention for the FA Cup and Conti Cup in the later stages and then also went into the last matchday of the WSL with a huge chance of winning and only missing out due to goal difference, they still did finish the season without a trophy despite these best efforts.
Now, alongside having their name involved in all these three competitions, they will need to go another step further and be able to achieve a trophy. It's to be remembered that this season, Man City will also have commitments in the Champions League after they ended their last WSL season on second place.
So, that's a potential four trophies available for Man City to claim when the time comes, but for now, it's the Women's Super League that has attention as the official schedule for the clubs has been released.

And that is the full schedule of fixtures for Manchester City, starting off with one that could also be a potential meeting with a later title rival, Arsenal.
Last season, the Gunners played a vital role in denying Man City a Women's Super League victory, most memorable coming on the later stage of the season and while Man City were looking to go into their final matchday after a 1-0 win over Arsenal, the scoreline changed in a flash as Arsenal ended the game 2-1 winners.
Perhaps that fixture ended differently, it could have very likely been the Cityzens claimed the WSL 23/24 season.
There are now only about two months left before the start of Manchester City's new season, but before that, the Cityzens are heading off to Australia where they will be competing for the first-ever Perth Cup trophy.
The wait for Manchester City's return is almost over, and it remains to be seen what this new season will have in store.
