Manchester City's Women's team have reached the semi-finals of the FA League Cup after a 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur through a Yui Hasegawa goal 25 minutes into the game.

There's no doubt that Manchester City were given some very difficult games this month; they played and overcame Leicester City and Spurs, but have the likes of Arsenal coming in the FA Cup on Sunday, and then when they return to the Women's Super League they'll meet title rivals, Chelsea, in what could be a title-defining fixture.

But as we focus on the Conti Cup semi-finals, it now remains who City will meet in their bid to reach the final and potentially win the whole thing.

Here is all the information to know before the upcoming draw later today

Opponents:

1- Chelsea

3 - Aston Villa

4- Arsenal or London City Lionesses

Manchester City's number is two going into the draw. If they were to draw number four, they would have to wait until Wednesday to find out if it's either Arsenal or London City Lionesses, as the fixture hasn't been played yet.

The next round of games take place at the beginning of next month, giving City time to prepare and, until then, give their attention to the other crucial games that will take place before then.

Who would be the better draw for Man City?

At this point, there is no better option as we reach the final stages of the League; everyone will be determined to get to the end and clearly have done well enough to get to the semis, so it can really be anyone's top win.

But saying that, with games already coming against Chelsea and Arsenal, it could be more beneficial for them to avoid them. Of course, Arsenal's fate isn't confirmed yet, but I predict they will book their place for the next round.

And while Aston Villa are far the easier opponent, City's chances might be slightly higher against them. They have only met once this season, which ended 2-1 in City's favour.

The draw takes place today, Friday the 9th, at 18:30 (UK)
