The Women's Super League will have its final fixture before the start of the upcoming international break, and Manchester City will be determined to overcome Liverpool, which will be the third time this season.

The break, which sees club football take some time off while the nations get reacquainted, approaches after the next game day. As for the WSL, the clubs hope to depart the League well, especially Man City, who currently remains in first place with Chelsea. Arsenal seem rather out of the question now, as they stay six points behind the other two.

And while City attempted to secure three points, Chelsea will not be playing their WSL fixture, as they face Arsenal in the FA League Cup Final, giving both clubs a chance to lift silverware.

As for City, this can be seen as a positive note. If they were to win their game over Liverpool, they'd go three points above the Blues, though they'd have an extra game to catch up. But it would be a confidence boost, nonetheless.

Man City and Liverpool have played each other twice thus far, with the third coming soon.

In their previous fixtures, the results have ended in wins for the Cityzens. The first was in the FA League Cup, a dramatic game that ended 4-3, and then in the WSL, a huge 5-1 victory as Khadija Shaw earned herself a hat trick.

Going into the next game, City will be the favourites to claim a win. Though Liverpool will give a good performance, Man City will be highly favoured, especially after their victory over rivals Manchester United a few days ago, which ended 3-1.

It will be a must-win match for City in their bid to win the Women's Super League.
