Manchester City entered English football history by winning the Premier League title for the fourth consecutive time, with a 3-1 victory over visiting West Ham United on Sunday evening in the final round.

Manchester City's goals were scored by Phil Foden (2, 18) and Rodri (59), while Mohammed Kudus scored for West Ham (42).

With this win, Manchester City's points tally rose to 91 at the top of the table, while West Ham's points froze at 52.

Manchester City launched an early search for the lead, which was achieved in the second minute when Foden received a pass from Bernardo Silva and unleashed a powerful left-footed shot from outside the penalty area that nestled into the top corner of West Ham's net.

City star Kevin De Bruyne tried his luck with a shot from the left, which was saved by goalkeeper Alphonse Areola in the seventh minute, before the same player executed a free-kick that was stopped by the goalkeeper in the tenth minute.

Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku broke into West Ham's penalty area, bypassing Tomas Soucek and firing a shot towards the far post, saved by Areola in the 15th minute. A minute later, De Bruyne passed the ball from the right side to Rodri, who followed up from inside the penalty area, narrowly missing the near post.

Foden scored his second personal goal in the 18th minute, when he met a low cross from Doku with a direct shot towards the far post.

City almost added a fourth goal in the 24th minute, but their striker Erling Haaland failed to follow up a ball from his teammate Ruben Dias from close range.

Doku continued his antics on the left side, passing to De Bruyne who shot from the edge of the penalty area, narrowly missing the far post in the 27th minute.

West Ham woke from their slumber in the 38th minute, when Mohammed Kudus made his way down the left wing, dribbling past two defenders before shooting a ball that goalkeeper Stefan Ortega saved confidently.

Kudus managed to make up for it by scoring for the visiting team in the 42nd minute when Manchester City's defense failed to clear a corner kick. The Ghanaian international set the ball for himself and executed a stunning bicycle kick into the heart of the goal.

Haaland missed an easy opportunity in stoppage time of the first half, when he received a perfect pass inside the penalty area from Doku but shot over the goal.

After a cautious start by both teams in the second half, Spanish midfielder Rodri added his name to the list of scorers in the 59th minute, as he received the ball outside the penalty area and launched a low shot towards the near post, which settled in the net despite Areola's attempt to save it.

Doku broke loose again on the left wing, attempting to dribble past players before firing a shot that deflected off the defense and passed by the goal in the 82nd minute. De Bruyne executed a free kick towards the near post, followed by Haaland's header next to the goal in the 84th minute.

The referee canceled a West Ham goal in the 88th minute due to a handball by the goal scorer Tomas Soucek.
