With the signing of winger Sávio all but confirmed by Manchester City, how the attacker will fit into the Man City line-up should be discussed.

Sávio is currently on loan at Girona FC from Ligue 2 club Troyes. The Brazilian is 19 years old and is from São Mateus. He started his career at Clube Atlético Mineiro in Brazil and has become a promising upcoming talent.

The main thought when looking at how Sávio will fit in at Man City is how he will be played by Pep Guardiola. Sávio has primarily played on the left wing at Girona this season, which means that he will be competing with Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish for game time.

This will be difficult for Sávio since the only one of those players he would currently start over would be Grealish due to him not being able to continue his form from last season into this season.

Sávio has a lot of potential and could become a quality player under Guardiola, but will he get enough game time, or will we have another Kalvin Phillips situation?

With Sávio having 14 goal involvements in 26 appearances, it is clear that he will be an attacking threat for Man City and has been a fundamental player for Girona in their outstanding season in La Liga.

It is also important to remember that Guardiola has a knack for developing young players in his career. Some of these players include Phil Foden, Cole Palmer and one of the greatest players of all time, Lionel Messi. With this impressive track record, it would be safe to assume that Sávio would benefit greatly under Pep and will develop into a world-class player.
