Man City will host Spurs next Sunday evening in round 14 of the English Premier League at Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola said in statements during the press conference before the match, which were reported by Man City’s official website: “I admire many of the things that Tottenham are doing.”

He continued: “I admire the chances they create, the ferocity of the team, and the reliance on high pressure and courage.”

Regarding John Stones’ position on participating against the Spurs: “He is much better, and he is very close to returning. He will be on the team’s roster on Sunday.”

Regarding the positions of Mateo Kovacic and Matthews Nunez, “I think the former has already returned. He trained well, but the latter may still be days or weeks away from returning.”
