Pep Guardiola, the coach of Manchester City, spoke about the injury of Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, a member of the team.
Guardiola unexpectedly omitted Haaland before the match against Luton Town in the 16th round of the English Premier League.
Guardiola said in statements highlighted by the global network "Goal": "The day after the Aston Villa match, Haaland couldn't walk properly."
He added, "I spoke with Haaland on Saturday, and he said: I feel a significant improvement, I can walk, and I don't feel any pain. That's why we had to assess his condition day by day."
He concluded, "Haaland is not suffering from a fracture; it's just pressure on the bones. We hope he will be ready to participate against Crystal Palace, and if not, his return might be in Saudi Arabia."
Haaland had started all of City's matches in the Premier League this season, except for the Luton Town encounter.
