Jorge Mendes, the famous player agent, offered the services of a prominent Barcelona star to Real Madrid management.
According to the Spanish Defensa Central network, Mendes offered the services of the Portuguese João Cancelo to Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid.
Cancelo plays with Barcelona on loan until the end of the season without the right to buy from Manchester City.
Mendes realizes that Barcelona is unable to pay 30 million euros, which is the amount required by Manchester City to allow Cancelo to leave permanently.
Cancelo's agent knows that Real Madrid is looking for a new right-back in light of the many injuries to Dani Carvajal during the current season.
The Spanish network indicated that Manchester City does not mind Cancelo moving to Real Madrid instead of Barcelona as long as he receives the required money.
However, Real Madrid's management does not see signing Cancelo as a priority due to his controversial behavior at Manchester City and Bayern Munich and the possibility of his impact on the stability of the Merengue dressing room.
It is noteworthy that Cancelo had previously represented two clubs that had a great deal of historical animosity and competitiveness, such as Inter Milan and Juventus, in Serie A, thanks to the movements of Jorge Mendes.
