The Frenchman whipped in a corner in the 84th minute for Marc Guehi to head home the equalizer before finding Josko Gvardiol inside the box with a lovely lay off for the winner.

Josko Gvardiol - 8: Took the initiative of finding the winner upon himself and got unusually forward to connect with Cherki's through ball.
Elliot Anderson - 6.5: Sought to disrupt Bournemouth's rhythm with vital interventions early on but his league debut ended prematurely following a collision with Alex Scott.
Marc Guehi - 7.5: Missed a chance to score from a header but then atoned for it with an 84th-minute equalizer.
Phil Foden - 7: A reliable outlet for central players with eight crosses on the day and two key passes.
Nico O'Reilly - 7: Excelled in the No.10 role with his devastating linkup plays and inviting crosses, completing three out of four he laid on the day.
Antoine Semenyo - 6.5: Was caught offside a couple of times but his ability to take out defenders was second to none.
Erling Haaland - 6: Turned heads with his new cut before the match, but ended up being a damp squib on the field; missed two good chances too.
