Manchester City have announced the contract extension of Ruben Dias, as he attaches himself with the Sky Blues on a four-year deal.

Manchester City and Ruben Dias have renewed their time together, with the confirmation of his contract being extended for a further four years being announced by the club.

The Portuguese joined Manchester City back in 2020 from Benfica and has ever since ingratiated himself as one of the most important players within the club.

During his time so far, Dias has helped the Cityzens win four Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League, among other impressive achievements. He has made a total of 200 appearances thus far, and now looks to add to that number in the near future.

As Manchester City make their return to the Premier League, where they have already claimed a 4-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, they work towards getting things done before the transfer window closes.

The player spoke about his choice to remain with Manchester City and how he feels to be officially remaining an integral part for the foreseeable.
