Manchester City have completed the 34 million signing of French international Rayan Cherki, on a five-year contract.
Manchester City have been very busy since the opening of the summer transfer window, making sure to get the job done before the window closes for the start of the FIFA Club World Cup, which starts this upcoming weekend, where the Cityzens will be aiming to claim the title.
After they successfully brought in Wolverhampton Wanderers' Rayan Ait-Nouri and just recently Tijjani Reijnders, they also welcome Rayan Cherki, who was one of the names linked to potential moves to the Sky Blues, as were the other two mentioned.
The former Lyon star has agreed to a five-year deal, which would keep him with the Premier League side for a good few years.
Cherki arrives at Manchester City after an eye-catching 24/25 campaign, where he made a total of 44 appearances and had an overall 34 G/A, 12 goals and 20 assists to his name. His completed statistics after six seasons come as 185 games played and 29 goals scored, some highly impressive numbers.
No surprise that Manchester City were determined to close this deal on the player, as his talent and numbers speak for themselves, proving the influence he could have at the club.
