Manchester City have announced the exit of James McAtee, as he joins Nottingham Forest on a permanent deal.
Manchester City have confirmed that James McAtee has left the club, as he signs on for fellow Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
The English player was seemingly on his way out of the club, and now it has been agreed upon that his time with the Sky Blues has come to an end.
McAtee has signed for Nottingham Forest on a 30 million deal, which keeps him attached to them for five years.
During his time with Manchester City, James has been a key figure for the U21s side and has also been on loan to Sheffield United; however, last term, he made a total of 27 appearances and claimed seven goals, three of those coming as a hat-trick against Salford City in the FA Cup. He became a regular name for the club during that time, while showing his growing improvement,
But now, the players' participation as a Cityzen comes to a close, and he begins anew with Nottingham Forest, who have been very impressive in recent times, and they look to remain that way as they strengthen themselves up for the season, which they already started off with a 3-1 victory in the Premier League.
