Manchester City have announced the exit of Jess Park, who has left after an eight-year stay.

Manchester City and Jess Park have confirmed the end of their time together.

Jess Park now joins Sky Blue rivals Manchester United, while Grace Clinton has done vice versa by signing for Manchester City.

During her time with the Cityzens, Jess made 122 appearances and claimed 22 goals. Her influence clearly hasn't gone amiss.

The transfer of Jess has come as a surprise, considering what a vital part of the club she's been.

She joins the likes of Chloe Kelly, Laia Aleixandri, and Jill Roord to leave Manchester City over the summer. But the sky blues have made many recruitments in the meantime.

However, the leave of Jess Park will make a difference. The player has been so important for Manchester City, and it will be an important loss that will surely be missed.

After the news was confirmed, Jess Park shared her goodbyes.

Jess's goodbye to Manchester City

"This club has taught me things I will take with me for the rest of my life, on and off the pitch, and I wanted to say thank you to everyone at Manchester City for supporting me.
I have enjoyed being a part of this amazing club, watching it grow and watching me grow. I've had so many amazing moments that will last a lifetime that I am incredibly proud of.

I will keep them close to my heart forever. I have made friends for life, and I will forever be grateful for them.
This decision has been one of the hardest I have ever had to make, but I just want to play football, and I hope you can all understand that. So, on that, thank you and goodbye from Jess."
