Manchester City have a packed schedule ahead of them for this month of March, with fixtures coming in four different competitions.
Manchester City played four matches in February: they started off the month with a 4-3 loss against Arsenal in the Women's Super League, and a few days later they met the Gunners again but this time in the FA League Cup semi-final, where it was Man City who claimed a 2-1 win and advanced to the final. In the FA Cup, they beat Leicester City 2-1 and in their last game before the international break, the Sky Blues achieved a big 4-0 victory over Liverpool in the WSL.
For March, the Cityzens will have a hectic schedule ahead of them as they are booked to play eight matches, in four competitions.
Manchester City Women's March Schedule
- Tottenham vs Manchester City - Sunday the 2nd at 14:00 (WSL)
- West ham vs Manchester City - Wednesday the 5th at 19:00 (WSL)
- Manchester City vs Aston Villa - Sunday the 9th at 12:30 (FA Cup)
- Chelsea vs Manchester City - Saturday the 15th at 12:15 (FA League Cup final)
- Manchester City vs Chelsea - Wednesday the 19th at 20:00 (UWCL)
- Manchester City vs Chelsea - Sunday the 23rd at 14:30 (WSL)
- Chelsea vs Manchester City - Thursday the 27th at 20:00 (UWCL)
- Brighton and Hove Albion vs Manchester City - Sunday the 30th at 14:00 (WSL)

Eight vital fixtures that could determine how City's season could end. With the international break now over, this upcoming weekend will host a meeting in the WSL between Man City and Tottenham. The two have only met once so far, and that ended in a 4-0 win over Man City.
A midweek League game against West ham and then a few days later the Cityzens will be competing in the FA Cup, where they'll take on Aston Villa.
Then, Manchester City will face a tough period of time as they prepare to play rivals Chelsea four times in a row. The first match will be the FA League Cup final and this will come as City's first chance at claiming silverware.
After that, the UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-final stage arrives. This will be a big occasion for the Sky Blues, who haven't participated in this stage for quite a few seasons now, and after a rather impressive group stage, they will be aiming to continue their journey in this competition.
When they turn their attention back to the WSL, they'll once again be facing Chelsea. During their first meeting in the League this season, it was Chelsea who came out on top with a 2-0 win.
The second leg of the UWCL quarter-final will then take place and we will discover if Manchester City can cause a shock and knock out one of the favourites Chelsea, and secure a semi-final place.
And finally, to round off the month Manchester City will return back to the Women's Super League and hope to surpass Brighton.
While their hopes of winning the WSL came to an end due to some underwhelming results and are now only aiming for a top-three place, Manchester City still have three competitions where they remain in contention for trophies. It will be a difficult task, no doubt, but Man City have proved on numerous occasions that they are capable of bringing a surprise against their opposition.
Whatever happens in March will play a key part in how the end of their season could look and if that conclusion has celebrations included, this month will decide if that scenario is possible or not.
