Manchester City have arrived in January 2025 with four big fixtures to overcome in three different competitions.

Manchester City have ended 2024 second in the Women's Super League (six points away from first), with early qualification for the quarter-finals of the Champions League but ended the group in second spot and still have the FA Cup and FA League Cup to come.

The Cityzens will have a huge next few months ahead of them until the season comes to an end and their quest for silverware at the end of the season will be put to the test in all their upcoming fixtures.

In the WSL, Man City have won seven matches, while drawing one (2-2 with Arsenal) and losing two (2-0 to Chelsea and 2-1 to Everton). They are now six points away from leaders Chelsea and must achieve results from here on out.

In the UEFA Women's Champions League, in the group stage, the Sky Blues won 5/6 matches, their only loss coming to Barcelona 3-0 on the last matchday. While City had already qualified for the next round prior to matchday six, they went into that fixture with the hope of topping the table but weren't able to do so against the Catalan Champions.

Therefore, Manchester City have been added to pot two for the upcoming draw alongside Bayern Munich, Wolfsburg and Real Madrid. While Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal and Lyon are in pot one.
