Manchester City head into the final month of 2024 with crucial fixtures in different competitions which will be vital for their season.

The players have been away for international break these past few weeks and will return back to club football in the next few days.

In the Women's Super League, despite being top of the table for majority of the season so far, Man City have now dropped to second after a 2-0 loss to Chelsea right before the break and also with Chelsea making up a game, which ended 1-0 over Manchester United.

Now, the Cityzens go five points behind first-place Chelsea and will need to bring strong form into their next fixtures and claim all points available to them if they are to remain in contention for the WSL.

Elsewhere, in the UEFA Women's Champions League, City have already qualified for the quarter-finals with two matchdays still remaining. Out of the four games they played, they claimed 12 points/12.

The next fixtures will determine if City will finish the group stage on top of their group or as runner's up; which also decides the pot they will be placed in when the draw comes around for the quarter-finals.
