Manchester City women's team arrive in April 2025 after a hectic month of March, with crucial season-defining fixtures set to take place after the international break.
Manchester City's Women start the month with a few weeks club break due to the latest installment of the international break.
During March, City participated in four different competitions: the Women's Super League, the FA Cup, the FA League Cup and the UEFA Women's Champions League.
In the WSL, the Cityzens secured wins over Tottenham and Brighton and Hobe Albion, while settling for a draw with west ham and then faced a loss to Chelsea.
In the FA Cup, Manchester City beat Aston Villa 2-0 to move into the semi-finals where they'll be meeting rivals Manchester United.
The FA League Cup final saw City fail to overcome Chelsea and lose out on claiming the trophy.
In Champions League two-legged tie was filled with drama: a shock 2-0 victory gave Man City a 2-0 aggregate to take into the second leg, boosting their chances of making the final four. However, the return fixture saw Chelsea turn around the scoreline and win 3-0, an aggregate of 3-2, eliminating City out of the competition.
Now, the Sky Blues have two remaining competitions left in their midst. The FA Cup is the only opportunity to finish the season with a trophy, whereas winning their remaining matches in the WSL could secure them the top three and European football.
