Man City begin their defence of their Carabao Cup title against Norwich City. We're expecting changes a-plenty after what has been a pretty packed month for the Blues.

A packed month, but certainly a successful one. City have won every game they've played since the start of the season, beginning with a 2-1 win over Bournemouth on opening day. The Blues have won five straight games and are likely to make it six in a row when they face the Canaries.

It will be interesting to see if Enzo Maresca remains with Pep Guardiola's idea of having an EPL and UCL keeper, and a keeper for the domestic cups. We think he will, which means Geronimo Rulli could make his debut for the club after re-signing in the summer.

Abdukodir Khusanov should also come back into the starting XI. Whether that's at right back in place of Matheus Nunes or as a centre half remains to be seen. While I think they'll be a few changes, I don't think it will be a completely different starting lineup. Ruben Dias could still start, with Marc Guehi getting a well deserved rest.

At left back, Nico O' Reilly could make his return in that position. Rayan Ait-Nouri will also be pushing for that spot, though the Algerian might have to settle for a place on the bench.

We could see the debut of Allan, with Antoine Semenyo moving from left-wing to striker with Erling Haaland rested. We're also expecting Iliman Ndiaye to start this one after his superb performance coming on as a sub in the Manchester derby.

In midfield, Ayyoub Bouaddi should start alongside one of Enzo Fernandez and Elliot Anderson. Ryan McAidoo, Floyd Samba and Kaden Braithwaite should also make appearances, according to Maresca's latest press conference, although all three are likely to be subs.

Jeremy Doku could make an appearance, though it's unclear whether he'll be ready in time to play a part.

One player definitely missing is Phil Foden, who is suspended after his red card in the derby. A shocker of a decision as far as I'm concerned, but we won so I'm over it.

So, what are we expecting from Norwich? They have some injury concerns themselves and have had quite the inconsistent start to the 26/27 campaign. They've won three and drawn four of their Championship games so far, scoring 13 and conceding 13 in those games. So, they're no strangers to scoring goals, but they're yet to keep a clean sheet so far this season.

Doing so against Man City is an uphill task for any side.

Norwich can cause us problems, as we've seen they can score plenty. However, it's a game we should be winning and winning well.

Man City Probable Lineup vs Norwich City:
