Manchester City return to Women's Super League action this weekend, as they continue their battle for a top-three position with a fixture with Chelsea.
Manchester City had a big European week, beating rivals Chelsea 2-0 in the first leg of their quarter-final Champions League tie.
Last weekend, City were defeated 2-1 by Chelsea in the FA League Cup final, missing their second chance at silverware this season, the first coming as the WSL where they failed to compete for the title.
After their disappointing final performance, the Cityzens turned their attention to the Champions League, where they were scheduled to meet Chelsea just a few days after the loss.
On Wednesday night, Manchester City's Vivianne Miedema gave her side a 2-0 scoreline over the Blues to take into next week's second leg. If City can achieve another victory or even a draw in the second leg, they'll move into the final four.
But all focus this weekend is on the WSL, where they'll be playing Chelsea for a third time in a row during the past week.
Three points are crucial for Manchester City as they struggle to get themselves in the top three. Currently, the Cityzens are four points behind Manchester United and Arsenal, while Chelsea have an eight-point lead from second place.
To finish in the top three will be a challenge for Man City, but if they can succeed then they'll finish the season with a European ticket for the next term.
Nick Cushing ahead of the WSL match
"When I first came in, I said you have to believe you can beat the best and go on unbeaten runs."
"Now, you have to repeat that. We're fourth because we haven't been consistent enough. Now we have to be consistent and that will put us in the top positions."
"If you don't believe after that (win over Chelsea) then you will never believe. I heard Chelsea talking afterwards and they said they didn't believe it was their level so we have to prepare to play a better version of Chelsea."
"They have world-class talent and they're not going to enjoy losing a game. I expect them to go aggressive."
"We have to push for the Champions League spot and we have a job to do so we have to prepare the team to do that job."
