As Man City begin life under Enzo Maresca, the first team squad fly out to Asia next week for their 26/27 pre-season tour. As Simon Bajkowski confirms in the Manchester Evening News, many of City's World Cup stars have already rejoined their club squad and will travel to play in Hong Kong and South Korea.
Amongst those are Josko Gvardiol, who recently signed a new long term deal with the club as reported by ESPN, and his Croatia teammate Mateo Kovacic.

Antoine Semenyo, Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Abdukodir Khusanov will also feature. New signing Elliot Anderson is unlikely to join his new teammates but could well feature in the FA Community Shield against Arsenal on August 16th.

Fellow England players James Trafford, Marc Guehi and Nico O' Reilly have also been given extra time to recover from their World Cup exploits and will likely miss the trip to Asia, as well as Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland, Rayan Cherki and World Cup winning captain Rodri. Ruben Dias, Matheus Nunes and Omar Marmoush, however, could all potentially make the touring squad.

City start their trip with a game against Italian side Inter Milan at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong. The squad will then head to South Korea to play a K League All-Stars XI at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, before facing Spanish giants Atletico Madrid at the same venue.
