Manchester City are preparing for the last premier league before the next international break and after three losses on the bounce, City will be desperate for a victory before their break.

Manchester City will take on Brighton and Hove Albion this upcoming weekend in their next matchday of the Premier League 24/25 season. The Citzyens are currently going through a little unusual period after losing 2-1 to Tottenhen in the Carabao Cup, then 2-1 to Bournemouth in the Premier League and recentlyl 4-1 to Sporting CP in the Uefa Champions League.

In the Premier League, after missing out on three points to Bournemouth, Man City dropped back to second place and now have two points seprating them from leaders Liverpool. While this gap isn't anthing too major, the club will want to get back to winning ways after three consecutive losses and will also want to keep adding pressure to the Reds.

However, with injury setbacks continuing to disrupt the squad, Pep Guardiola updates fans if they can expect certain players back for the Brighton match.

"There is no good news," Guardiola has confrimed that Jack Grealish, Ruben Dias, John Stones will be out for the weekend's match, "We have the same player as we did for Lisbon. The players that travelled, still they are there."

Players such as Jeremy Doku, Savinho, Manuel Akanji and Kyle Walker were all present in the squad during City's fixture in the Champions League, meaning they will be avaible for the Brighton game - whether or not they play will be seen.

Pep then moved on to discuss the current form the team is on, stating "Of course we are not used to playing three games in three competitons. It's football, it's happened. We know the reason why we struggled, but we are looking forward to the Brighton game and after the international break. "

"After that, some players will be coming back better and recover and for all theproblems that we have; little problems that every player has, we will solve it, I hope so."

"They have proved many times what they are capable of so it doesn't change the opinion I have of them. Sometimes it happens and you have to understand it."
