Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne is edging closer to his exit from the club, with only three matches remaining before he says goodbye.

Manchester City are approaching the end of their season, meaning Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne is not long away from leaving the team. The player and club announced his departure a few months ago, while De Bruyne made his intentions very clear to leave the Sky Blues on a positive note by securing a top-five place in the Premier League.

His future is not known as of right now, however, talks about a potential move to Napoli or Chicago Fire have been going around. But for now, De Bruyne is focusing on giving City the best sendoff he can, with three games that must see the Cityzens claim wins.

This weekend, it's the FA Cup final where Manchester City will meet Crystal Palace, and this will be De Bruyne's last opportunity to leave this club with one last trophy to celebrate.

The player's teammates, Mateo Kovacic and Erling Haaland have spoken out about his upcoming exit, sharing their thoughts on the situation.

Erling Haaland gave a sentimental statement, saying: "It's been a pleasure. Hopefully, in the last couple of games we're going to have a really good time."

"It's going to be emotional when a good friend leaves. Maybe the best player ever to play for City - one of the best to play in the Premier League as well."

"Hopefully, we can make it a good one in the last few weeks. You can't really replace a player like him because he's got something so special. We have to make the best out of it and give him a good farewell."

Mateo Kovacic also had some words to say, "For him, it will be emotional and not an easy game. It's never easy when you have to change and leave."

"The whole team only has one thought and that's to try and get the trophy and to make the day special for De Bruyne."

"For what he's done, he deserves to leave like a champion, which he obviously is. He represents the club, among the best players in the club and Premier League. He will be remembered as one of the best."
