Manchester City women's team recently secured the arrival of Jade Rose, who is now working towards making her first impression for her new side.

Manchester City announced the signing of 22-year-old Canadian international Jade Rose a few weeks ago.

The Sky Blues have been making many alterations ahead of the upcoming season, which is set to start on the 5th of September, with Manchester City taking on Chelsea in the first Women's Super League match.

Among the things done so far by Manchester City include the departures of Laia Aleixandri, Chloe Kelly, and Jill Roord, but also the signings of Iman Beney, Sydney Lohmann, and Jade Rose. They have also brought in Andree Jeglertz to take on the head coach role.

All of this is in the Cityzens' bid to achieve success in their upcoming season, where they hope to be proper contenders for the WSL, the FA Cup, and the FA League Cup.

Jade Rose recently opened up about her new teammate, one of Manchester City's biggest and most influential names: Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw. Rose shared how the club's star has been helping her adjust and get ready to make her start for Manchester City.

Jade Rose on her partnership with Bunny Shaw

"Having someone like Bunny as a person of leadership to show me around not only the facilities but to the team has been great for me."

"My time here, the transition has been smooth and a lot of that has been down to the staff and team, how welcoming they've been and how helpful they've been with all the little questions that pop up."

"Moving from a different country and all the things I didn't think about myself, my teammates have been there to support me and help me through it."
