Manchester City are set to face Plymouth Argyle in their next FA Cup fixture, which comes this upcoming Saturday.

Manchester City will be taking part in FA Cup action this weekend, where they'll be aiming to beat surprise team Plymouth, who knocked out favourites Liverpool 1-0 in the last round.

The FA Cup is Man City's final chance of attaining silverware this season. In the Premier League, the aim is now top four, the Carabao Cup saw them face an early exit to Tottenham and the UEFA Champions League playoff round sealed City's exit with two losses to Real Madrid.

During the last round of the FA Cup, Man City fought hard against Leyton Orient to achieve a 2-1 victory and continue in the competition.

This will be a crucial fixture for the Sky Blues, who must overcome the Championship side in order to remain with a chance of ending the season with a trophy.

Pep Guardiola ahead of the game

"No, they are not unknown. When you can beat the best team in the country this season Liverpool - and also Brentford - they are not unknown. And not just Liverpool, I saw some of their other games."

"We are expecting a difficult game. We played many times in the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup against lower-league teams and always they are tricky. What these teams do, they do really well. And if you are not ready you are in trouble."

"We have a chance to arrive in the last eight of the FA Cup again and we want to do it. We have two months or so, and every game is a final for us."

"If we lose one or two games, we will be eighth (Premier League). Everything is so tight. We have big games before internationals - Nottingham Forest are third and Brighton are there too."

"We need to be focused on what the teams needs, the club needs and (Plymouth) is most important right now."
