Manchester City have welcomed three new players during this season's winter transfer window, securing the signatures of Omar Marmoush, Vitor Reis and Abdukodir Khusanov.
To strengthen their struggling squad, Manchester City have brought in three fresh names to help bring a positive effect to their team.
Omar Marmoush has been a standout name so far this season, having more than 30 goal involvements in only 26 appearances for his former club Frankfurt. City will be hoping that Marmoush's breathtaking statistics can continue as he settles into Manchester life.
The Cityzens have also recruited two up-and-coming defensive talents in Vitor Reis, who joins from Palmeiras, and Abdukodir Khusanov formerly of Ligue 1's Lens, to help sharpen their troubled defence.
The Premier League side are clearly looking ahead to the future, hence bringing in three young names with big potential to become vital City players.
With various injuries continuing to plague Manchester City, they have successfully taken their opportunity to add more depth within their squad as they go forward with this season.
Pep Guardiola gives update on new City trio.
"We didn't train much because we travelled, matches, travel so we didn't make a training session all together."
"Omar Marmoush was the first, and the other ones trained a little bit but not all together. But they're fine. Vitor (Reis) is young, and has a huge personality but needs time."
"Khusanov is already settled for the fact of playing in the French league and dealing with tough, fast players. He doesn't speak much English, more French, so communication is one of the situations we have to deal with."
"And Omar (Marmoush), yesterday was the first training session, and I think he'll adapt quickly."
Guardiola then moved on to discuss his next task, which comes against Chelsea in the Premier League, "Yeah, really important. The quality of the side, always Chelsea have been."
"They're close in the table even with the big problems we've had. This week is really important and the next two games are finals for us."
