"Foden" is a new documentary created by City Studios, showcasing Phil Foden's incredible journey from joining Manchester City as a six-year-old to becoming a first-team star.
Foden is close to making 300 appearances for Manchester City, having already won six Premier League titles and the Champions League.
Last season, he was honored as the Premier League Player of the Year and is savoring every moment of his career at the Etihad.
"I have a special bond with the fans, growing up here and playing at every level," Foden said.
"You never know what the future holds, but I'm happy here, and there's no better place."
At just 24 years old, it has been seven years since Foden made his first-team debut as a substitute during a Champions League win over Feyenoord.
He fondly recalls scoring his first goal in a 3-0 victory against Oxford United in September 2018.
"I can't explain the feeling when the ball went in," Foden shared. "Everything I had worked for, all those hours spent playing football – in that moment, it all felt worth it when I scored that goal."
"There were so many emotions during the celebration, as you could probably see," he added.
Reflecting on a tough match against Tottenham after a painful Champions League loss to the same team, Foden said, "We faced them again in a crucial Premier League game not long after. It was hard to recover from that defeat, but when I saw the team sheet, and the manager had included me, I knew it was a huge opportunity, and I had to step up to help the team."
"We handled ourselves brilliantly that day, and it felt like we got our revenge by winning the Premier League," Foden said.
"I still think that was one of the most important goals I've ever scored. It boosted my confidence and helped me come out of my shell," he concluded.
