A big week in Europe saw the first legs of the last round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League all take place, giving an idea on which of the 48 clubs will make it to the quarter-finals.
A busy European week saw all three UEFA competitions' last 16 fixtures' first legs completed, with the return legs set to feature next week.
The round of 16 started later than seasons prior, due to the format change adding two extra matchdays in the revamped group stage and a playoff round for the teams that finished the league phase ninth to 24th, while the top eight were already secured for the last 16.

Exciting and intense set of matches all played out over the three days, leaving some clubs one step closer to the last eight, while others were left with a lot of work to do in order to turn around their scorelines.
