The UEFA Champions League matchday seven took place, and many sides came away with crucial victories in their bids for qualification.

The Champions League’s seventh matchday provided vital results for many clubs.

Going into it, Arsenal were leading the way, with the likes of Manchester City, Atalanta, and Paris Saint-Germain included in the top eight.

The league phase has one more set of matches to go, and then we will discover which teams finish within first to eighth, and automatically qualify for the next round. While those who will be ninth to 24th will remain in the contest, they will require an extra fixture to decide their fortune. Anyone ending 25th to 36th will be eliminated.

Among the games, there was Inter Milan vs Arsenal, Bodo/Glimt vs Manchester City, and Qarabag vs Frankfurt, as some of the key fixtures.

The final matchday will be on the 28th. It will be a special event as every game will kick off at the same time, meaning all sides will be participating and aiming for wins simultaneously.

Let’s take a look at how those matches went and the shaping of the table.
