The UEFA Champions League matchday eight is here, and all the official placements will be decided.
The Champions League eighth matchday will display crucial fixtures with vital results.
Going into this, Arsenal and Bayern Munich have already qualified for the next round, while the likes of Newcastle, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the teams within the top eight. However, many are still in contention to gain automatic qualification, making these last games decisive.
The league phase will have clubs first to eighth automatically get themselves into the next round, while ninth to 24th will require an extra playoff fixture, and the numbers after that means elimination.
In the included games, there will be Union SG vs Atalanta, Paris Saint-Germain vs Newcastle, Barcelona vs Copenhagen, and Monaco vs Juventus.
After this, the matches for the playoff round will be announced, and they will be played in February. Eight sides from that will join the already qualified eight teams, and that will make up the next stage.
